My daddy

My daddy has always been my biggest supporter in life.  Growing up he was our provider, protector, disciplinarian, and protective of his girls.  My daddy grew up with all boys and managed to have three girls.  My daddy was over protective of me being hurt by anyone.  He wanted the best for me by providing resources that I needed to reach my goals in life.  My daddy guided me in preparing for my future by instilling determination and will.  I think that I am a lot like my daddy.  He is a natural born leader.  Growing up he didn't always say that he loved me but he was always there for me.  Know that I am an adult my daddy tells me he loves me often.  He still supports me in my career choice and provides me words of encouragement when I need it.  When I talk to me daddy I feel that I can do anything.  Thank you daddy for loving and supporting me always.

  1. Hello Mrs. Twin
It’s a joy to have a father that is supportive, loving and caring in your life. However I was less fortune to have a father in my home, when I was growing up. I was raised in a single parent home, which my mom did an outstanding job, raising nine children. My hat goes off to men who stand up to be a father. Congratulations Dad!!!!!

  2. I am a daddy's girl to the heart, Therefore, I can totally relate to your post. For a young lady growing up from childhood, it is important to have both parents in your life. However, I do believe that a young lady needs her father to take her out on dates and teach her what she should look for in a man. This is not to take anything away from the mothers, but in my experience and observations, I have really seen this to be true. I too can relater to the unconditional and ongoing support from my father. Thank you for sharing.
